More of pencil lines sketch 78

Here is my attempt at this weeks pencil line's sketch. I have finally decided it is time to start using my lovely stash and not just keeping hold of it and being scared to cut into paper or use up embellishments and it feels so good I'm loving it :) .

Layouts

Here are a few recent layouts I feel as if my mojo has finally come back (fingers crossed).

'Mr Darcy is all politeness'

I finished the Jane Austen Biography I was reading and realised although I have seen (and love) all the films and TV adaptations of her novels I have never actually read one. So I placed an order with Amazon for the complete novels of Jane Austen and have this week started my fav 'Pride and Prejudice'. Along with reading the novel I've also watched the BBC adaptation again, Colin Firth as Mr Darcy - you can't get much better than that. My fav scene can be watched below (bet you can guess which bit it is!!! lol)

Jane Austen, Pencil lines and other fascinations....

At the moment I'm reading Jane Austens Biography by Claire Tomalin, and loving it. I've always loved Jane Austens stories and reading about her own life is so interesting, I'm having trouble putting the book down.

This week I've also done a bit of scrapping, I did a layout based on sketch 76 from the Pencil Lines Blog. Here is my attempt:

I'm also working on a mini-book about our trip to Amsterdam from Jan 08. I'll upload the photo's next week. I also got my CJ back so I'll add photo's of that too.

I received my Kawaii stickers from Esty.com. They are lovely and smell great too.

I'm off to see Hairspray in London tommorrow night and I'm so excited - I'll make sure I get some good pic's.

That's it for the moment have a great easter and eat loads of Chocolate (like I intend to do lol)

Very Bad Blogger.....

I'm a really bad blogger. I really want to write something everyday but never get around to it, so I'll have to do another long post for the last week. So here goes.....

This week I placed an order with Crafts u love. I brought a new Cricut cartridge 'Doodlebug Charms' which I think will be very useful as it has images for every holiday through-out the year. After I placed the order I received an e-mail to say it is out of stock so I now have to wait which is a bit annoying. Hopeful they will get it in next week.

I also brought some new Kawaii stickers from Esty which are really sweet. Can't wait for them to arrive.

On Friday Martin and I went over to Sugar and Spice crafts at Barleylands. I got some new PP's and and couple of new stamps. I also went into town and at WHSmith I got some bargin 6x6 Dovecraft papers for £1.99 for 72 sheets not bad.

This week I also got the last entry on my CJ done so I'll be getting mine back later this month and I can't wait to see it all done. xxx

The last week....

Sunday/ Monday morning:

I stayed up most of the night to watch the Oscars. I thought it was a bit more low key than usual, my fav dresses were Jennifer Garner's and Anne Hathaway's.

Monday:

Spend the day recovering from staying up all night and done some scrapping - here it is:

Tuesday:

Went to Lakeside with Martin and stopped by Artbase to grab some new stash. I got AC Giggles thickers in white and blue and a Making memories spiral journal. Here's a pic:

Wednesday:

Went to Norfolk to visit Martin's family. We had a lovely day seeing everyone.

Thursday:

Today I got a cold come out on me which wasn't great timing as we were off to see The Sound of Music . I loved the show and thought the 'new Maria' Summer Strallen was fantastic.

Friday:
Spent the day relaxing with Martin and catching up on Thursday night TV (I love Ashes to Ashes - Love u Gene xxx)

Saturday:

Martin went back to work so I spent the morning cleaning the house and then this afternoon I watched Elizabethtown. What a fantastic film, Orlando Bloom is soooo lush. Also feel much better today xxx
