I'm teaching my first class......

At JAD's I am teaching my first class!!! It's a 12 week BOM mini book class starting 1st April. Every week I will be posting a prompt to help you complete a page of your BOM. I haven't done this for ages so here what I'm loving this week:

Country Music:

It was country music week on American Idol this week, and as you might know I love country!!!This week I'm especially loving Carrie Underwood and Kellie Pickler- they rock!!!

My Little Shoebox:

I'm loving this new range of scrapping products!!!! The Owls are so cute!!! Also their small Alphas are just fantastic!!!

Sugar and Spice:

I'm loving my LSS - Sugar and Spice. I've been there twice this week, it's to hard not to when they have so much new yummy stash!!!! http://www.sugarandspicecrafts.co.uk/

New Lay-out's and a card......

I made this lay-out for challenge 5 of the survivior contest at Hybird Designs . The challenge was to create a Lay-out with-out using any PP or pre-made embellishments. The photo is of my Nan, Grandad and my Dad when he was about 2 or 3.

I made this lay-out using challenge 8 at Butterfly Crafts . It's about my lovely Mum:

and finally I made this card for Mothers Day, this coming Sunday, for Cindy's card sketch challenge at Jean's Art Doll's I was lucky enough to be chosen at random and won a Rak from Cindy - Thanks Cindy!!! xxx

I've had the best Friday 13th ever lol......

So I woke up this morning and after making Breakfast and Lunch (for DH to take to work) and seeing my DH off to work, I switched in the Internet (As usual lol) and I got a lovely E-mail from Cindy at Jean's Art Doll's to say I had made their DT!!!!!

I'm just so excited as this site is so much fun, totally creative and a friendly space where you can feel free to be yourself with your art. Their motto is Dare to be different.

Butterfly Crafts Challenge 7 - DT contest

Here is the Butterfly Crafts next Challenge:

Create a lay-out using a favourite book as inspiration. Whether it be the title, cover photo, or colours - anything that inspires you. (Please let us know what book you have chosen.)

Please upload your LO's to our gallery, leave us a link in the comments or e-mail them to Butterflycrafts1@aol.com by 30th Mar.

This month we have a very special prize for the winner of our months challenges, a DT position!!!!! One of our DT member has had to leave us so we have an open spot and thought it would be a fun idea to give it away as this months prize.... This is how it will work - from all the lay-out we receive for the March challenges I will pick my fav 3 and then the DT will vote for their fav and the top Lay-out will win the DT position (for 3 months Apr- Jun 09)!!! We will also randomly pick a runner up who will become our April GD. Makes sense??? (If not please give us a shout.)
